Lack of sun is a bone risk in winter. Remember how important Vitamin D is for the absorption of Calcium. Bone mass peaks in your 30’s and after this age we lose bone faster than our bodies can create it. So a diet high in calcium rich foods together with a good Vitamin D supplement with maximise our health benefits and keep osteoporosis at bay.

Highest Calcium rich foods include: sardines, anchovies, sesame seeds, tahini, humous, green vegetables, raw nuts and seeds, cold water fish – salmon, kale, tofu, chai seeds.
